Look away for too long and the XT6 will ask you to pay attention -- first by flashing red lights on the steering wheel, then with audible alerts -- before eventually handing control back to the human in the hot seat.

In the short term, look for Super Cruise to be offered on the 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5, the Escalade and the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq. In all, GM plans to offer Super Cruise in 22 models within two years. Cadillac Super Cruise with automated lane change will be an option on the 2021 CT4 and CT5 sedans, and the 2021 Escalade when those vehicles become available in the second half of 2020.
